History
The Department of Emergency Medicine at UAMS has a very rich and distinguished history. Founded in 1983 we have been training Emergency Medicine physicians for 40 years. UAMS is Arkansas’ only Level 1 Trauma Center. Our vision is to become the statewide and national leader in the advancement of emergency medical patient care, education, and scholarship.
