Administration

Adult Dosing

• Mania/psychosis: 40 to 80 mg PO BID
• Acute agitation: 10-20mg IM q2-4h, 40mg max daily

• Pregnancy Rating: C
• Lactation risk: Infant risk cannot be ruled out
• Renal dosing: no adjustment

• Allergy to class/drug
• QT prolongation, concomitant administration of other QT prolonging medications
• Decompensated heart failure, recent MI
