History
The Emergency Medicine residency program has maintained Continued Full Accreditation by the ACGME as well as the Resident Review Committee (RRC) since 1981.
Their program proudly serves as a center of excellence in Emergency Medicine in the Commonwealth of Virginia providing leadership in clinical, academic and prehospital services. They are a not-for-profit physician group supporting EVMS with more than 150 physicians at over 20 locations.
