Background

  3. Spaces communicate with the tissue planes that extend down the neck to the mediastinum

Clinical Features

  1. Facial swelling and erythema
  2. Trismus
  3. Fever, malaise, dysphagia

Diagnosis

  1. CT with IV contrast

Treatment

  1. Clindamycin IV

Disposition

  1. Admit
