History

As a full academic department in a community hospital-based medical school, they strive to graduate highly competent and compassionate practitioners in emergency medicine. Their program encompasses clinical and didactic experience in emergency and critical care medicine, emergency department and emergency medical services administration, toxicology, teaching techniques, sports medicine and principles of research and publication. • 1 Block Surgical ICU
• 1 Block Pulmonary ICU
• 1 Block Orientation
• 2 weeks Ultrasound

PGY2

• 9 Blocks Adult ED^
• 1 Block Pediatric ICU
• 1 Block Surgical ICU
• 1 Block Obstetrics
• 2 weeks Neuro ICU
• 2 weeks Hand surgery

PGY3

• 9.5 Blocks Adult ED^
• 1 Block Trauma nights
• 1 Block ICU nights
• 1 Block selective
• 2 weeks Ultrasound

^Pediatric ED shifts equal to one block are completed during the blocks of Adult ED.
