Known variants
- Asphyxiation
- Asphyxia kits may contain plastic bags with tie collars and gas canisters
- Canisters may contain inert gas to cause simple oxygen displacement asphyxia or a more active gas such as nitrous oxide
- Toxic ingestion kits
