Background
- Generally anticholinergics: specifically antimuscarinic
- Block the responses of the sphincter muscle of the iris and stimulation of ciliary body muscle, leading to cycloplegia and mydriasis (dilated pupils)
- Often used for symptomatic relief in the treatment of uveitis
- Topical agents
