Adverse Reactions

Serious

  • Secondary adrenal insufficiency
  • Elevated ICP, seizure
  • CHF, cardiomegaly, hypertension
  • Thrombophlebitis

Common

  • Bruising, petechiae
  • Impaired wound healing
  • Hyperglycemia, hypokalemia
  • Rash, urticaria
  • Peptic ulcer disease
  • Irregular menses, growth delay (children)
  • Headache, vertigo
