Background
- Almost always associated with other injuries
Diagnosis
- CT often required for accurate diagnosis
Management
- Major fracture (talar neck and head)
- Immediate ortho consultation required (high rate of avascular necrosis)
- Minor fracture
- Posterior splint, NWB, ortho referral
