Background

  • Visual field defects along optic nerve, optic chiasm, optic tracts, optic radiations
  • A junctional scotoma is an unilateral central scotoma associated with a contralateral superotemporal field defect and is caused by compression of the contralateral optic nerve next to the chiasm.
